june 2018; it’s a wrap
June has arrived, and I feel like I should feel accomplished, but part of me is just meh with the world. Maybe it’s the summer slump? Is that a thing? It should be a thing.
On the blogging front, besides a couple of mishaps where I forgot what day it was – I can’t even blame it on anything, I just did? – I have been pretty consistent! My stats may not reflect that – especially because I definitely do not advertise my blog as much as I probably should – but it could be worse, I’m sure.
Professionally, I have FINALLY put together a shop. I think I have more fun actually designing bookmarks than I do pushing for sales, but it’s been a few months, and things should pick up with more mainstream fandom things coming in.
The book box, on the other hand, has been doing well enough. At least half my stock has been moving, and I know it could be a lot worse. (Unfortunately, shipping is expensive, and if I knew for certain I had people interested, I’d ship to more places. But alas! I do not know for certain.)
It definitely has been a busy, busy six months, and because I want to get back to writing fiction as well, the next six months will be busy too! I will also be adding a few more posts a week that hopefully will get some interest. A couple of edit series’ that I have been posting over on Tumblr that I am rather proud of, that I hope will spark some conversation.
We’ll see how it goes.
Hope the first six months of your 2018 has treated you well!

I am the same with advertising – I am just not good at it and it’s not as fun as actually working on the blog content, right? Hope your plans would go well and that you get back into writing fiction!
PS: I tagged you in the Versatile Blogger Awards! https://cheekylines.wordpress.com/2018/06/06/the-versatile-blogger-award-tag/

I’m better at advertising for other people, I’ve found. It’s weird. haha. But I’m working on it all so here’s hoping I get better with it. Thanks so much!
